Iberpapel posts net profit of €9.46 million in the first nine months of 2013

The widespread European crisis affecting consumer spending in general and demand for paper in particular, coupled with the electricity sector reforms passed by the Spanish government, eroded the Iberpapel Group’s earnings in the first nine months of 2013.
In the nine-month period ended 30 September 2013, the Iberpapel Group posted revenue of €163.34 million and net profit of €9.46 million. The Group generated EBITDA of over €21.5 million in the first nine months of 2013.
