Iberpapel presents its first-quarter earnings

The Iberpapel Group, which held its Annual General Meeting yesterday, has presented its results for the first-quarter of 2019, reporting revenue of €63.89 million.
Net profit in the first quarter amounted to €5.44 million, up from €4.34 million in the first quarter of 2017, while EBITDA increased from €7.94 million to €9.52 million.
The healthy results reported by the paper maker were driven primarily by growth of 23.25% in paper sales volumes, coupled with flat average sales prices.
Elsewhere, the company’s shareholders ratified by the Board’s motion to pay a final dividend from 2018 profits in the amount of €0.30 per share (before withholding tax).
